Adult Volleyball
Season: Fall 2024
Divisions:
Fall Co-ed 6v6 and Women’s
Fall Co-ed 4v4 (2 person scramble)
Dates/Schedule:
- Co-ed 6v6 and Women’s: Games will begin the week of October 22nd. Co-Ed will play Tuesday evenings. Women will play Thursday evenings. Schedules will be posted on October 15th. The team captain will be notified when the schedule is posted. It is the team captain’s responsibility to distribute the schedule to the other members of the team. Any special requests must be submitted by the registration deadline. Women’s league will play on Monday, October 28th to avoid conflicts playing on Thursday, October 31st (Halloween). All schedules will be final once posted.
- Co-ed 4v4: Games will begin the week of September 9th. Games will be played on Monday evenings. Schedules will be posted on September 3rd. The team captain will be notified when the schedule is posted. It is the team captain’s responsibility to distribute the schedule to the other members of the team. Any game time requests must be submitted by the registration deadline. All schedules will be final once posted.

Registration Deadline:
- Co-ed 6v6 and Women’s: Thursday, October 10th. LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
- Co-ed 4v4: Friday, August 30th. LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Roster Deadline:
- Co-ed 6v6
- Initial roster deadline: Co-Ed: October 22nd. Women’s: October 24th.
- Complete roster deadline: Co-Ed: TBA. Women’s: TBA.
- Co-ed 4v4
- Initial roster deadline: September 9th.
- Substitution roster deadline: September 30th.

Fees / Rosters:
Co-ed 6v6 and Women’s
- $175 per team (10 person roster max)
- Additional $15 per non-member payable at time of registration.
- All fees must be paid at time of registration.
- Captains may add team members to fill their 10 person roster until the conclusion of the regular season as long as an original roster spot is available. In certain cases, injuries may allow a team an addition or drop to fill their roster.

Each participant must be at least 16 years of age or older in order to participate.

Players’ names must appear on the roster in order to play. Any player who is not listed on the roster and plays will cause their team to forfeit all offending games.
- Players are not allowed to play on multiple teams in the same division. Teams using non-rostered players will forfeit all offending games.
Co-ed 4v4
- $50 per team (4 person roster max, 2 primary players, 2 substitutes). Any combination of players must be 1 male and 1 female.
- Additional $5 per non-member payable at time of registration.
- All fees must be paid at time of registration.
- Captains may add team members to fill their substitution spots until the final week of league play as long as an original substitution spot is available. In certain cases, injuries may allow a team an addition or drop to fill their roster.
- Each participant must be at least 16 years of age or older in order to participate.

Competition Format:
Co-ed 6v6 and Women’s
- Recreational and Competitive divisions will be offered to women.
- Co-Ed will play with standard rules.
- Number of games & season format will be determined by the number of registered teams. Generally there will be five weeks of pool play, with one week of single elimination bracket play.
- Referee will be provided by the YMCA.
- Teams will provide scorekeeper.
Co-ed 4v4
- This league will play with standard rules.
- This is a 4-week, round robin league. The team with the most wins at the conclusion of the 4 week league are the champions. This league will feature a continuous mix of different teammates. Teams will consist of two players (1 male and 1 female). Players will play with a new set of two after every game.
- Winning team will receive a YMCA credit equal to their team registration fee that may be used toward any YMCA related fee, program, or membership.
- Referee will be provided by the YMCA.
- Teams will provide scorekeeper.
Game Day Policies:
- Food and drinks are prohibited in the gym. Only bottled water will be allowed.
- Please pick up & dispose of trash properly.
